Am I the only one that finds that thing really ugly...? It’s like a giant tall amorp

It might be a tall amorphous blob, but it’s a tall amorphous blob with some serious off road chops.

True...I dunno though, the thing, to me, is that if this makes off-roading just THIS easy...where is the fun in off-roading anymore? You know?
Like, with the G-wagen you need to learn and have the skill
s to use the diff locks, know which gear to use, etc, etc....
If in this you just like, turn a knob to off-road
and press the
go pedal
...it’s SUPER impressive that is IS this capable
, but that kindof just takes a lot of fun out of it...? Maybe I am broken, lol
Like...if you could play baseball with a technological bat that lets you hit home runs 98
% of the time regardless of skill level, why bother?

Maybe a stupid question, but if there’s no suspension articulation, does it even make it better offroad? Are the hubs, and steering bits, and suspension arms and mounts, and all the rest upgraded too? If not, it seems like a failure would b e likely at some point.

I wouldn’t say you are broken. There’s a reason people still prefer manual transmissions.
To continue with your analogy: s
ome people want to play baseball, and some people want to get home runs. If a tool exists to get you constant home runs, then the fun shifts. It’s no longer about getting home runs, it’s about something else in the game.
Maybe this makes it more about the destination, and less about the journey?

True, you raise a very valid point...though I always thought the journey was more important than the destination! :)

Why not both? :)
